The One Book One Valley annual community wide reading event title for 2025 is The History of Sound, Stories by Ben Shattuck. All local participating libraries will be hosting individual book discussions and additional adjunct programming. Here in Bartlett our discussion will take place on Tuesday, October 14th at 7pm. The culminating event will take place at the Majestic Theatre in Conway on Thursday October 23rd at 7 pm. The evening will consist of a virtual presentation by the author, including Q & A with a representative from NHPR facilitating. You will also get a peek at the trailer for the movie based on a short story from the collection.
